But before you hop in the car and head out on a long road trip, you should absolutely visit your auto shop to make sure the operating systems of your car are in good working order. Even if you think you know a decent amount about cars and can do simple things like check your water and oil, it is not worth risking getting out on the road with your family, headed to a great vacation, only to have your car break down on the side of the road, interrupting your plans.
